Document Classification

Purpose

Classification helps route documents to the right template or review queue when the document type is not known in advance.

Prerequisites

• Signed-in xTrakt account.
• Active tenant or subscription access.
• Classification capability enabled for the workflow.
• Representative documents for the document types in use.

Workflow

1. Submit a document to the classification flow.
2. Review the predicted document type.
3. Confirm the result when confidence is sufficient.
4. Correct the type when the prediction is wrong.
5. Continue to extraction with the selected template.
6. Track recurring misclassifications for template or classifier improvements.

Troubleshooting

Wrong type	Similar document layouts or missing examples	Add clearer examples and route low-confidence results to review
