Purpose

Templates define the fields and extraction behavior expected for a document type.

Prerequisites

• Signed-in xTrakt account.
• Active tenant or subscription access.
• Permission to create or edit templates.

Workflow

1. Open the template area.
2. Create a template for a specific document type.
3. Define the fields that should be extracted.
4. Add field descriptions that match the language used in real documents.
5. Save the template.
6. Test it with representative documents.
7. Update the template when document formats change.
